Welcome Wednesdays!
We as an Early Years Foundation Stage at St Annes recognise the value and importance of parental involvement in a child's education and it is paramount strong, healthy link between school and home is evident. Both Nursery and Reception classes aim to organise a Welcome Wednesay morning for the parents for most months of the school year in which parents can come and join their children in the classroom and have fun engaging a variety of different activities.

Our first Welcome Wednesday in Reception was an opportunity to cap off our focus on Autumn in style with a range of activities. These included making leaf collage hedgehogs, decorative autumn wreaths and printing with sponge dabbers to make colourful autumn leaf pictures. This was a fantastic morning and it was great to see that so many parents were able to come and join us for this event.
