Happy Chinese New Year
We have enjoyed finding out about China and Chinese New Year this week.
We cleaned our classrooms in preparation for the New Year.
People do this to clean away any bad luck from the last year in preparation for the good luck New Year brings.
We discovered which year we were born in.
This year is the year of the pig.
We found out about the Great Wall of China. We used photographs to help build our own.
We enjoyed trying rice, noodles and spring rolls at lunch time.

Happy New Year! It's good to be back!
Birthdays
It is so exciting to plan and prepare for birthday celebrations. We have enjoyed preparing to celebrate Little Ted's birthday. We made cards, bought a cake, organised a birthday present and planned a party. Today we have had such fun celebrating with Little Ted.
