Investigating Circuits

Near our school is a very busy road junction.  Some of the parents feel that there should be a crossing there.  Year 4 decided to go out and investigate!  We collected information about how many cars, buses, lorries, bikes, etc. passed in fifteen minutes.

When we returned to school, we put our results onto a spreadsheet and made a graph of the results.  We hope to send our findings to the council in the hope that we can persuade them to build a crossing.

Making Salt Dough Calendars

Anti bullying week

During Anti bullying week, we explored different situations we might face during the school day.  Through drama, we thought about how the actions of some might make others feel and discussed making good and bad choices.
