Aspire to be more
We had a wonderful day exploring the woodland area,
creating artwork and finding all sorts of plants and creatures.
We are excited to watch the builders at work from our classroom window. We read a book called If I built a house and we have been designing imaginary rooms for our own houses.
We have been learning to recognise numbers up to 20.
Sometimes we spot numbers that are even larger and we love challenging ourselves to read these too!
What number house do you live at?
We would love to add each child's house number
to our display in class.
Maybe you could help your child to write it down.
It would be great if you would be able to email a photo of your
child in front of their house.
(Emails can be sent to the school office and will be forwarded on.)
Thank you to all the visitors who joined us
for our February Welcome Wednesday.
It was such a lovely morning!
Thank you to all those who joined us for our
Festive themed stay-and-play session.
We had great fun sharing our classroom
and activities with our visitors.
Campfire fun!
Campfire's burning, campfire's burning,
Draw nearer, draw nearer,
Fire, fire! Fire, fire!
Pour on water, pour on water.
Mrs Bluck came to help us learn more about making campfires and fire safety. We also had great fun exploring the woodland area! It was rather muddy... squelch, squelch, squelch!
We have been sharing lots of stories about dragons, knights and castles. This week we read about Sir Charlie Stinky Socks' very exciting adventure.
We have used socks to make puppets of some of the characters from the story.
