Aspire to be more
On Tuesday 25th November, Mrs Bluck came into school to help us experience food 'bushtucker'style! In our newly created seating and fire-pit area, she showed us how to build and light a fire the traditional way. It was fascinating watching! Back in the classroom, Mrs Hallam showed us how to make sweet potato cakes. We then cooked them on the open fire - they tasted delicious!. No camp fire would be complete without a campfire song - so we sang a rousing rendition of our Australian round song! A fantastic afternoon enjoyed by everyone!
