Aspire to be more
Science at St Anne's Catholic Primary School ignites curiosity and inspires pupils to think deeply about the world around us. Guided by the CUSP curriculum, our teaching is knowledge-rich, vocabulary-focused, and carefully sequenced—building secure foundations that help our children connect ideas across the whole Science curriculum. With regular retrieval practice and high-quality questioning, we ensure that learning sticks and scientific thinking becomes second nature.
We encourage pupils to talk and behave like scientists—asking questions, testing hypotheses, and drawing thoughtful conclusions. By celebrating diverse scientists and exploring real-world applications, we help children see science as meaningful and relevant. With high expectations and inclusive support, every learner is equipped to understand, articulate, and apply scientific knowledge with confidence and curiosity.
