Happy play

Fun in the sun!

Fire, fire!

The nursery and reception children have been really interested in stories about fire breathing dragons. Mrs. Bluck, our governor, visited to lead a forest school session to find out all about what real fire looks like, sounds like, and feels like!

It was very exciting....

Our visit to the library bus

Today we had a visit from the library bus. We chose some new books for school and had them scanned by the librarian. We are happy readers!

Festive Friday

All our special grown-ups were invited into Nursery to join in with our Christmas fun. It was very exciting to share our glittery learning!

Panto Day

Today we were visited by a group actors and actresses to tell the story of Dick Whittington. We all listened carefully (Oh, yes we did!)

Our Advent Assembly

We joined the children in Key Stage 1 for our advent gathering. Mrs.Moss lit the candles on the advent wreath and we remembered the story of the first Christmas. In our group we worked together to decorate letters and displayed them on a Christmas tree.

After the assembly we turned into Christmas spies, hunting around school for other signs of Christmas. We are experts at sneaking about!

Party Day!

Ho, Ho, Ho. Look who came to visit us....

1,2,3,4,5 Once I caught a fish alive!

We love nursery rhymes so for the last few weeks we have been exploring some of our favourites. This week it was the turn of 1,2,3,4,5. We were very, very interested in Mrs. Websdell's shopping!

We remembered to wash our hands when we had finished exploring.
