Dance from the Heart 2014

Every year we participate in the South Ribble Sports Partnership Dance from the Heart. The whole school learn a set dance and dance along with our Sports Partnership representatives and special guests. This year, we designed  a Brazilian themed football  and hosted a 'Keepy Uppy' competition.

Free choice means that the boys can play Netball whilst the girls enjoy football skills with a coach. Rounders was always a favourite.

Science and Engineering Week 2014

Monday 17th - Friday 21st March

 

Mr Hardwick (Tom in Class 6's dad) is a STEM Ambassador. This means he is a expert at anything to do with Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths. Every year he sets the school a challenge for the week.

This year he even brought his telescope to school!

LENT 2014.

 

Supporting The Nugent Care Society.

All through Lent, the children raise funds to support The Nugent Care Society. this charity supports vulnerable and disadvantaged people in the Liverpool Diocese. From whole school activities such as Odd Sock Day and Whacky Hair Wednesday, to Money Rockets and Cake Sales, the children also invent, organise and run their own games for other children to play.

ST. ANNE'S ANNUAL EASTER EGG BINGO.

 

This event took place recently with eyes down at 6 o'clock. Soon everyone was concentrating waiting for their number to be called so that they could shout for a winning line or a full house.

and here are some of the lucky winners.
Thanks to everybody who donated eggs and also to Tesco's in Leyland for the voucher that they kindly gave us towards prizes. Fun was certainly had by all.
