WRAP (Workshop to Raise Awareness of Prevent)
Prevent is part of the government counter-terrorism strategy, it's designed to tackle the problem of terrorism at its roots, preventing people from supporting terrorism or becoming involved in terrorism themselves. Designed by HM Government to give:
- An understanding of the Prevent strategy
- The ability to use existing expertise and professional judgment torecognisethevulnerable individuals who may need support
- Local safeguarding and referral mechanisms and people to contact for further help and advice.
