Happy 50th Anniversary to us! Our Arts and Crafts, 50th Anniversary Celebration!! Thank you to all our visitors - it was lovely to see you all!

We have been learning all about the Ancient Greeks; what they used to wear in battle; how they fought and what protecting them in their hour of need?! It has been great taking our learning outside too!!

This is us, using our observational skills, discussing our own thoughts and using our research to discuss the theory of a flat or spherical earth?

Reading our Ancient Greek myths outside in the sunshine to each other! Lovely!

Ancient Greek Homework due in on the, Wednesday 18th July *** CHANGE OF TIME FROM HOMEWORK LETTER; PARENTS WELCOME FROM 2.30pm, we will be showing other classes from 1PM.)

Our Class Five water play!! An afternoon the children will never forget! We ALL had a fab time!!

We were very lucky to be chosen to go to UCLAN's Science Convention on Thursday. We had an amazing day and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!!

Just a quick message to say, Thank you!!

 

The children made me very, very proud this morning and sang beautifully! Their message was heard loud and clear and portrayed an extremely upsetting, yet harsh reality of the cruelty of cyber bullying. Thank you very much to all the parents, carers and family members who came along and the kind words you shared with us afterwards; it really does make it all worthwhile!

Behaviour Bonus Time, as a class!

Outdoor day; we recycled toilet roll tubes to make bird feeders! They turned out great and they will be on their way home back to your gardens very soon - once the peanut butter has set! :)

In Science we have classifing animals into categories! We have also been looking at the life span of an adult and what happens when we get older!

Class Five have been inspired by Ruth Daniels, creating art work on the Amazon! Excellent Artists in the making! Come and see them on display in our classroom!

In Come and See, we have been learning all about the pentecost and why this time is important to all Christians.

Debt Aware; the children have been learning about 'needs, wants and budgets'. As well as thinking about debt, whether or not it is a good or bad thing?

A quick catch up with Howard; who the children had remembered from last year and told fond memories about the lessons he had taught them!
