Reception
Mrs Moss and Mrs Astley would like to welcome you to the Reception Class page.
Mrs Moss teaches the Reception Class with
Mrs Astley as our full time Teaching Assistant.
Mrs Gilkes is currently working with our class on two mornings
and Mrs Hallam teaches some afternoons.
Road Safety
During the week of 2nd - 6th June
the Reception Class will be taking part in
Road Safety activities and will complete
STAGE 1 of the
RIGHT START programme.
Summer Term Topic - Our Amazing World
During this term we will be learning all about the amazing world we live in. We will be finding out about different countries, cultures and climates. We will be sampling food from around the world, exploring different music and styles of dancing. We will be finding out about the very different environments and the animals that inhabit them. It will be very exciting!
Week Beginning 28th April: We will be finding out about different European countries. If you have any hoilday souvenirs, postcards or photos from European visits that we could look at, we would be very grateful if you would send them in with your child. Thank you!
Whacky Wednesday!
We look wonderful in our Whacky Bow-ties! We are wearing them as part of our Good Shepherd fund raising!
Tots on Tyres
The Reception Class have been busy learning to use balance bikes during our 'Tots on Tyres' sessions. We had great fun and learned so much!
