Eco-Warriors

Finally, out Eco Bench has been completed. We have been storing our Eco bricks waiting for the time when they can be used as a bench. Luckily, Mr Schofield’s company very kindly made and donated a metal cage for the Eco bricks to sit inside. The finished result looks amazing and the children really enjoy sitting on it. And let’s not forget how much single use plastic we have diverted from land fill. Well done everyone!

The Eco warriors learnt all about how to make a good Eco brick from our invited guest Bob Turner who is an expert on Eco bricks and their uses. A good Eco brick should weigh about 500g! He also passed on valuable information to the children about how to reduce our carbon footprint.
