Spanish Intent Statement

At St. Anne’s Catholic Primary School, we aim to inspire a love of languages and a curiosity about other cultures through the teaching of Spanish. Our curriculum helps pupils build confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing, while developing strong foundations for future language learning.

Lessons are practical, engaging, and sequenced to support vocabulary development, accurate pronunciation, and meaningful communication. Through learning Spanish, pupils also grow in cultural awareness and global understanding.
