Remote Learning

At St Anne's Catholic Primary School, we believe that attending school in person is the best way for children to learn, develop and thrive. However, in exceptional circumstances, remote learning may be provided where children are unable to attend school but are well enough to learn.

When Remote Learning May Be Used

Remote learning may be provided:

• During partial or full school closures.
• When a pupil is unable to attend school for a short period due to illness or other exceptional circumstances.
• When attendance at school is not possible, but learning can continue at home.

How Learning Will Be Provided

Teachers will provide appropriate learning activities that reflect the curriculum being taught in school. This may include:

• Online learning platforms and resources
• Recorded teaching materials
• Printed learning packs where appropriate
• Feedback on completed work

Access to Learning

If your child experiences difficulties accessing remote learning, including access to a device or the internet, please contact the school office so that we can discuss how best to support your family.

Staying in Touch

Parents and carers can contact the school office with any questions regarding remote learning. We will work closely with families to ensure children can continue their education and remain connected to their learning.
